Taking bold steps along the Freedom Trail, the King Street Tavern located inside the historic Ames Hotel is a modern adaptation of its revolutionary heritage. Named after King Street, the original colonial era street name, this full service tavern boasts an ENHANCED BAR EXPERIENCE like none other. From its original industrial flooring adorned with plush leather seating to its handsome bar nuzzled beneath the empowering back drop of the legendary Old State House, nowhere in the city of Boston, has drink, food, and entertainment met at a higher epicurean crossroad.

A 4-COURSE PRIX FIXE featuring fresh, house made bruschetta with Italian toast, Portobello or Lentil Soup (vegan), mixed green salad and choice of: Filet, Ribeye, Veal Chop, Pork Chop, Burger, Veg Burger, Swordfish, Salmon, Shrimp or Scallops served with grilled lemon, Pommes Frites and dipping sauces. Enjoy these delectable entrees while listening to the areas hottest singer songwriters perform their own blend of artistry, exclusively for your entertainment.
King’s After Party

Entertainment based nightlife with live music, top 40 DJ and cover bands appearing nightly into the wee hours of the morning. Dancing is appreciated!
Five local artists have taken up nightly residencies at King Street for the rest of August, ranging in variety from funk and blues to DJ mixes, with more artists to be added. Guests are invited in for a night of casual listening, drinks, dancing and dinner both during the work week and on the weekends.
Here's the artist-in-residency schedule for the rest of the summer:
Tuesdays, 5:30 to 8 p.m. – Singer and American Idol Top 10 finalist Erica Van Pelt.
Wednesdays, 7 to 11 p.m. – Blues and Americana group The Colin Bradley Trio.
Thursdays, 7 to 11 p.m. – Vinyl DJ Chromatix.
Fridays, 10 p.m. to close – JAMN 94.5 DJ Jules.
Saturdays, 7 to 10 p.m. – Funk and soul group The Squabbles.
Saturdays, 11 p.m. to close – Rotating DJ sets.
Sundays, 7 to 11 p.m. – Assortment of local talent, to be announced.
